Festival Season: Bestival Roundup

Bestival is a four day music festival held annually on the Isle of Wight playing host to a variety of the world’s top dance and indie acts.

Unlike other UK festivals, each year Bestival chooses a theme and encourages festival-goers to dress accordingly. In 2010, they even set a World Record for the most people in fancy dress at any one event with a huge total of 55,000. Themes over the years have ranged from Freaks Under the Sea, Out of Space, Wildlife, Rock Stars, Pop Stars and Divas, Desert Island Disco and Summer of Love. This years theme was ‘The Future’ and looked just as crazy as ever.

Having won a host of awards over the years, Bestival now holds a firm place in the hearts of many. The festival also has a killer lineup year after year and has played some major acts including New Order, Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg, Elton John, Chic, Duran Duran, Pendulum, The Cure and Florence and the Machine. And that doesn’t even begin to cover the rest.

Blogging babe, Charlotte Fisher, was one of the lucky attendees to this years event so we kitted her out with some EGO faves for a stylin’ festival look that would stick to the theme whilst staying cool and comfortable.

For Day 1, Charlotte rocked our TARA Boots paired with a multi-coloured sequin strappy playsuit. Little black booties are perfect to pair with any outfit, day or night. The low heel also ensures you can easily trek round to each stage all day, meaning you’ll never miss an act.

For Day 2, Charlotte wore our bright pink MIRANDA Over The Knee Boots with an iridescent sequin dress.  This look is so on theme and the pink makes for a fun twist on a classic boot.

Until next year Bestival!
