8 Times Kate Moss Slayed The Game | EGO

In honour of Kate Moss' birthday yesterday we’re looking back at 8 times she has absolutely slayed the game. In a time before Instagram and the endless stream of selfies, she was the original It Girl. Discovered in JFK Airport at just 14 years old, Kate quickly reached fashion icon status, countering the prevalent nineties supermodel trends with her grunge, ethereal style.

She’s since worked with Chanel, Balenciaga, Burberry, Versace, Alexander Wang, Givenchy, Dior, Gucci, Calvin Klein - the list does go on but you get the picture. With 30 British Vogue covers to her name alone, Kate’s cemented herself as one of the most famed models of all time.

In her 43 years there’s so many looks to covet but these are our 8 all-time faves…

David Bowie’s and Kate Moss’ friendship spanned decades with the two appearing together in a feature for Q Magazine in October 2003. Kate went on to accept Bowie’s 2014 BRIT award for Best Male Solo artist wearing his iconic Ziggy Stardust outfit. His influence on her style has seen her transform into Bowie for not one but two Vogue shoots in 2003 and again in 2012. On the day his death was announced last year she was pictured dressed all in black, except for a white Bowie t-shirt.
